Side-shifting crane
A crane that travels through gateways
A side-shifting crane makes it possible to convey loads even beyond the actual crane suspension. The side-shifting crane is generally mounted onto the crane bridge.
A side-shifting crane is ideal for equipping machinery.
To prevent any collision with the supports of the factory building, the side-shifting crane can be blocked off from these areas. We achieve this by using magnetic switches. If the side-shifting crane enters a prohibited area, the crane is switched off. It is still possible to continue driving in another direction.
